So sorry for the lack of posts! I have been off on Holiday to Croatia recently which is a beautiful place by the way... Please forgive me ;)
I will not bother posting about the holiday, because obviously I do not want you lovely followers to have feelings of jealousy towards me ;), and also I currently want to keep this blog as London related as possible... I may post about it at a later date as I have been thinking of creating a theme that focuses on the places I have travelled to but for now here is a photo of our lovely breakfast view whilst there...
... Heading back to the main aim of this post! This week, my second week of officially residing in London, my lovely boyfriend and I were able to spend the day together to celebrate our four year anniversary!
Trying to keep the day as Student priced as possible! We started off the day of with a picnic at Hyde Park which was lovely! The weather was really good to us... We then went for a walk down the Serpentine River and planned to visit to the Serpentine Art Gallery which was unfortunately closed for renovation so instead, we spent time at the Serpentine Pavilion which was still great, as we were able to see the work of Smiljan Radić who has had the privilege of having his work honoured this year, the project he worked on was completely made out of fibreglass, as an Architect graduate, my boyfriend found it all very fascinating! Read more about it here!
To finish off the day, we dined at Byron Burgers. I ordered a chicken burger and requested additionally blue cheese, whilst my boyfriend ordered a Smoky.
My opinions on the place you are wondering?! I personally think the restaurant slightly overrated! I would rate it a 5/10, the burgers certainly look appealing though...
